It is Registration Time!!

It is Registration time again.  Registration for the Fall 2017/Spring 2018 Season is now open!

Please read this entire email before proceeding to register.

AYSO National has implemented a new system this year, eayso is no longer how you will register.  On the front page of our website ( you will find a registration link.  Once you click that link you will be directed to a Blue Sombrero website.  If you leave that page, please only register using our link, as Blue Sombrero hosts many different groups, and that link is special to Elmhurst AYSO Region 399.

Once you arrive at the Blue Sombrero Link, you will have to create a login.  Please remember this information as you will connect to this from now on.  Eventually we will move our website over to Blue Sombrero and you will have access to team and schedule info there if you remember your login.

After you have logged in, the process is simple and the site will direct you.  Please be aware that over the next few weeks, our Registrar will get hundreds (or more) of emails and it may take an extended time to get an answer, so try to work through any difficulty you have.  If you successfully register and pay online, you will receive an email telling you that you have successfully registered.  If you do not want to pay online, then you will have to attend our in person Registration Night on May 23 (see the website for details).  You will still need to complete the registration online, then choose to pay by check or cash.  We will not be able to accept cash or check on any night other than May 23 due to new National restrictions.  If you pay online, YOU WILL NOT NEED TO REGISTER IN PERSON!!  I know that is great news for most of you, it is for us too!

We are following USSF rules for next year and are playing by birth year, not year in school.  Please also note, the VIP program is for those with special needs.  Additionally, we are adding playground and schoolyard soccer next year for 3 to 5 year olds.  We are looking for a program head.

Our website will remain at for the near future, so please keep checking there for more information, unless someone wants to volunteer to port it all over ;-)

This Exciting Camp Experience with AYSO and U.K. INTERNATIONAL

With solid grounding in AYSO's Six Philosophies, AYSO Soccer Camps offer week-long camp including mini camps (1.5 hours per day), half-day camps (3 hours per day) and full-day camps (6 hours per day). These programs work with players on technical and tactical aspects of the game, which are appropriate to their age and skill level. Camp programs include:

Fun in the Sun (4-6 yrs): Our focus is physical literacy and exciting games to build confidence and FUNdamentals. Players will cover ball familiarization, small group dynamics, motor skill development and social interaction, all with maximum participation.

Skills and Thrills (7-10 yrs): This program enhances player’s technical development and skill building in a stimulating and positive environment. Players are challenged to consider key tactical components at an age appropriate level.

Compete with your Feet (11-16 yrs): Aimed to progress players both technically, tactically and develop their ability through challenging game-related situations. Players are coached to improve their decision making, positional awareness and soccer specific fitness.

For more information or questions please contact Stacey Lundgren at We will need a minimum of 32 to hold the camp

Registration Information-

Registration is ongoing.  Please see the link on this page.  Additionally, the fee is still $120, but it appears as $102.50 until you check out and the $17.50 fee to National AYSO is applied.

We Want You!

We have many open positions please think about volunteering.

If you are signed up on the waitlist, we will begin contacting people in the next couple weeks as we see where players are needed. You will not be contacted until we know that there is an opening.

VIP Program

The Mission of the AYSO VIP (Very Important Player) Program is to provide a quality soccer experience for individuals whose disabilities make it difficult for them to successfully participate on mainstream soccer teams. VIPs are paired with buddies on the field who help them to learn new skills, focus on the game and have fun. Accommodations are made to support all players on the field and can be a mixture of sensory supports, behavioral supports or adaptive equipment. VIP coaches and referees are flexible and positive.

Field Conditions

We don't want your fields looking like this!  Please be cautious, if the field is bad, do not play.
